Cavaliere Named AE Outdoor Track Scholar-Athlete

VESTAL, N.Y. – Middle distance runner Matthew Cavaliere has been named the 2023 America East Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Scholar-Athlete. It marks the second straight season he has earned the award, having also been chosen during the previous indoor track & field campaign back in March. The America East announced its Spring Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday – one from each of the sports that it sponsors during that time frame – including men’s and women’s lacrosse and men’s and women’s track & field, baseball and softball.
