Top 5 Heisman Trophy candidates entering the 2023 CFB season
(BVM) – USC quarterback Caleb Williams’ run to a Heisman Trophy last season crystallized during the final weeks of the 2023 season as he capped off an impressive stretch against the likes of UCLA and Notre Dame.
While his Heisman constituents, consisting of Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud, TCU’s Max Duggan and Georgia’s Stetson Bennett, all enjoyed their chance in the 2023 College Football Playoff, Williams’ recent campaign has set the reigning winner up for a solid chance at both repeating, and joining the group he found himself outside of this past year.
