Tommy Pham on the trade block; 5 possible landing spots
NEW YORK (BVM) – Tommy Pham signed with the New York Mets near the end of January, and not much was made of the deal at the time. He was expected to slide in and be used as a fourth outfielder.
Expectations in general have been thrown out the window this year for the Mets as the team with the highest payroll in baseball sits seven games below .500. But in a year full of disappointment, Pham has shined bright, emerging as the team’s best hitter.
He has a season OPS of .827 as well as a batting average of .271.

With Pham only on a one-year deal and the team not being close to a playoff spot, there should be many teams calling on the availability of the 35-year-old outfielder.
These organizations make the most sense for the seven-year MLB veteran.
