LOS ANGELES (BVM) – As the Aug. 1 trade deadline approaches around Major League Baseball, the clear needs of the Los Angeles Dodgers have quickly been addressed over the past few days.
With reports from ESPN’s Jeff Passan, the Dodgers have landed starting pitcher Lance Lynn and reliever Joe Kelly in a trade with the Chicago White Sox. The two pitchers come in a package that will send back the Dodgers’ No. 9 prospect in Nick Nastrini, Double-A reliever Jordan Leasure, and outfielder Trayce Thompson.
The deal signals two different directions for both Los Angeles and Chicago and this is how the trade shakes out for both sides.
