These Alabama HS football records might never be broken

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (BVM) – Here are seven Alabama high school records that will probably never be broken due to their incredible feats.

Note that the high school football data was sourced from state association archives, MaxPreps and USA TODAY Sports.

Youngest player to start in a 7A state championship game

Quarterback Trent Seaborn became the first eighth-grader to ever start in the Alabama Class 7A state championship game in November 2022. Seaborn went 12-of-14 for 201 yards and five scores to lead Thompson to win the state title. Nick Saban himself offered Seaborn a scholarship straight out of the eighth grade. As impressive as Seaborn has been, middle schoolers snagging the starring roles from 17-year-olds just isn’t something that’ll happen often.
