Two teams tie Alabama high school records for the most points scored in a single game. In 1915, Hamilton defeated Fayette, 125-0. In 1925, Langdale took down Milltown, also 125-0 – according to MaxPreps. Both records stand as the largest margin of victory, according to the AHSFHS.

The record seems safe forever because 100-point games are a rarity these days. There are several reasons, including the fact that coaches are often shamed for running up the clock in a blowout lead. Even the list of the top 25 highest-scoring games at the national level remain from the 1900s.
