Milwaukee Brewers’ future in doubt?; 5 relocation destinations

MILWAUKEE (BVM) — The possibility of Milwaukee losing its MLB team is becoming more of a reality after it was reported that the Brewers could look to relocate if there’s no plan to fund $448 million worth of improvements to American Family Field.

“The Milwaukee Brewers are committed to working with policymakers on both sides of the aisle to extend the life of American Family Field and help make Major League Baseball possible in Wisconsin for the next generation,” Brewers president of baseball operations Rick Schlesinger said in a press release.
The Brewers have a lease on American Family Field until 2030, meaning there’s still time to work out a plan, but that won’t necessarily prevent team officials will give relocation a thought.
