Incoming Freshman Hogs’ Cristina Sánchez Set to Play in Europe

DEBRECEN, Hungary — Arkansas freshman Cristina Sánchez Cerqueira will represent her home country of Spain and the Razorbacks at the FIBA Women’s 3×3 U18 World Cup in Eastern Hungary. The games are set to begin Aug. 30 and carry on through Sunday, Sept. 3. Sánchez Cerqueira and Spain, in Pool C, will kick off play Thursday to play Lithuania at 10:55 a.m.. Spain will then play Morocco at 12:45 p.m.. On Saturday, Spain will play Ukraine at 10:55 a.m. followed by Japan at 2:10 p.m.. The two top teams out of each pool will advance to play games on Sunday.…
