
Field hockey falls to Northeastern
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross field hockey team fell to Northeastern University, 8-2, Friday night at the Dedham Field in Dedham, Mass. The Huskies (2-1) struck first on a corner in the first quarter. Freshman Maguire Sturgis tied the game at 1-1 halfway through the second quarter, tipping a shot by sophomore Julia Carrozza on a corner play. The goal was the first of the season for Sturgis, and the first of her career. Northeastern found their footing in the second half, scoring six second half goals.
