Casiano named SWAC Offensive Player of the Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Iliana Casiano was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Offensive Player of the Week after her performance in a pair of matches last week, announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon. Casiano scored a pair of goals in the two matches, including her first collegiate goal against Talladega from 25 yards out in a 4-0 victory. She added another goal in a loss to Troy on Sunday to close out the week. Alabama State (1-4-1) host Georgia State on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the ASU Soccer Complex.
