The University of St. Thomas Women’s Golf team had a strong showing on day one of the Redbird Invitational, finishing in fifth place. Led by junior Isabell Lynch, who tied for 10th place, the Tommies scored a combined 590 to secure their position. Despite being eight strokes behind the top three, the team remains hopeful for a strong performance in the final 18 holes. Head coach Katie Hanneman expressed her pride in the team’s performance and their competitiveness. The tournament will conclude on Monday, Sept. 11.
