Queens University of Charlotte women’s soccer players Savannah Stuart and Erica Turner have received ASUN Player of the Week honors. Stuart was named Defensive Player of the Week, while Turner earned Goalkeeper of the Week. Both players had impressive performances in the Royals’ 8-0 win against the South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs, with Stuart scoring two goals, her first in her collegiate career. Turner’s recognition marks her second time receiving this weekly award this season, making her the second athlete in Queens Athletics to achieve this feat in the Division I era. The Royals will face the University of Central Arkansas Bears and the University of North Alabama in their upcoming matches.
