Brooke Steel Named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – On Monday, the Patriot League office announced that junior Brooke Steel was named the Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts in American’s league opening win Saturday over Army West Point. Steel had a hand in both goals, recording a goal and an assist in American’s 2-1 win over Army on Saturday to open Patriot League play. Her goal came early in the second half, in the 67th minute, for the eventual game-winning goal that would break the 1-1 draw. The goal was her second of the season.
