Top 5 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year candidates after Week 2

(BVM) – Two weeks into the NFL season, players and teams are beginning to show which will grab headlines as the season progresses. This year’s crop of rookies have also gotten the chance to establish themselves in the league. While some have proven they can be solid contributors for years to come, others have gone a step further by becoming household names during their short stints at the professional level.

Each of these rookies are vying for the coveted rookie of the year award on their side of the ball. Offensive rookies have done exceptionally well, including being in the top five in the league in certain statistics and even setting records. With that in mind, here are the top five candidates for offensive rookie of the year after Week 2.
