Travis Hunter’s Colorado house tour highlights NIL cashflow
BOULDER, Colo. (BVM) – Travis Hunter, a sophomore football player for the Colorado Buffaloes, is just one example of how college athletes are spending their NIL dollars. Hunter is making seven figures thanks to Name, Image and Likeness.
Hunter, 20, and his girlfriend, Leanna Lenee, 21, posted a tour of the Colorado home that they’ve lived in together for almost the past year. The video was posted on the couple’s YouTube page in mid-September and can be viewed below.
Hunter and Lenee begin the tour through the front door – where a living room, bathroom, open kitchen and dining room are on full display.
On the top floor, there’s a guest bedroom, two hallway bathrooms, a loft, a laundry room and Lenee’s personal bedroom. The couple also showed off their master bedroom that’s equipped with a bathroom and walk-in closet.
In the basement, there’s a guest room, bathroom and Hunter’s personal bedroom. The couple chose to not disclose some parts of the house, including the backyard.
Hunter never makes a note of whether he rents or owns the home. He never even states who pays for it. But, it’s easy to speculate that the home is being paid by Hunter thanks to his NIL compensation.
His NIL valuation upon jumping into the transfer portal out of Jackson State was $658,000. Now, Hunter’s NIL worth has more than tripled to $2.2 million, according to On3.
Hunter’s reported NIL endorsement deals paint a picture as to where all that money comes from. In September, he re–signed with Celsius Fitness Drinks. He has also held deals with Michael Strahan Brand, Actively Black, SoHoodie, NXTRND and more.
“I’m cheap, he (Hunter) likes to spend money,” Lenee said in a previous YouTube video about their life together.
