Florida A&M, the two-time defending Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) volleyball champions, will start their league play with matches against Alabama State and Alabama A&M. The upcoming match against Alabama State will be a rematch of the 2022 SWAC title game and will be live-streamed. The FAMU team comes into the game after winning two out of their last three matches, including a straight-set victory over South Carolina State. They currently lead the SWAC in categories such as assists per set and kills per set. The team is led by standout players Brooke Hudson and Brooke Lynn Watts.
