Casey, Hayes Earn SWAC Weekly Honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University football program nabbed two Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Weekly honors as Monday as quarterback Quincy Casey was selected the offensive player of the week and defensive end Zareon Hayes was named defensive player of the week, the conference announced. In addition to the SWAC weekly honor, Casey also took home the College Football Network HBCU Player of the Week honor. Casey had a huge night in Alabama A&M’s 31-24 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Thursday night.
