
Cats flying high after 3rd straight win
The Wildcats perfect start to the season continued in Charlottetown Friday night with an 6-2 victory over the host Islanders before 2,200 fans at Eastlink Centre. Moncton is 3-0 after a pair of road wins in Cape Breton. Led by First Star Jacob Steinman’s 36 saves, the Wildcats scored three unanswered second period goals to erase a 2-1 Islanders lead. It was a big night for Cats rookies Caleb Desnoyers along with imports Julius Sumpf and Sebastian Glas — all scoring their first QMJHL regular season goals.
