Every NFL team to have two top-five picks in the same draft
CHICAGO (BVM) – With their loss to the Denver Broncos coupled with the Carolina Panthers‘ loss to the Minnesota Vikings, the Chicago Bears are currently projected to hold the No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks in the 2024 NFL Draft. This is due to the Bears obtaining the Panthers’ 2024 first-round pick as part of the teams’ trade for the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s draft.
While the same franchise having the top two overall picks has only happened one time in NFL history, there have actually been seven instances of a team using two top-five picks in the same draft. Here are those seven instances and how each team’s selections fared.
