Las Vegas Aces, WNBA Champions, Attend Usher’s Las Vegas Residency Show

Key points:

  • The Las Vegas Aces, the back-to-back champions of the WNBA, were invited to attend Usher's Las Vegas residency show.
  • Usher serenaded A’ja Wilson, the Finals MVP, during the show and changed the lyrics of one of his songs in her honor.
  • Sydney Colson, who plays limited minutes but is active on social media, also danced on stage during the performance.

Las Vegas Aces, the back-to-back WNBA champions, continued their victory lap by attending Usher’s Las Vegas residency. It all started when A’ja Wilson, the Finals MVP and a fan of Usher, “begged” him to come to the Aces’ championship parade. Although Usher didn’t attend the parade, he congratulated the team and invited them to his show. At the concert, Usher serenaded Wilson and changed the lyrics of his hit song “There Goes My Baby” to mention her social media presence. The team was also invited on stage, where Sydney Colson danced for the crowd. The celebration shows no signs of stopping.
