The women’s soccer team had a three-goal lead at halftime, but FGCU mounted a second-half comeback to force the match into overtime. After a scoreless overtime, FGCU emerged victorious in penalty kicks, winning 3-2. Despite the loss, North Alabama had a historic season, setting records for most shutouts and tying the program record for most wins in a season.
