Akiem Hicks drawing interest; 5 landing spots for veteran DT
DALLAS (BVM) – Akiem Hicks is one of the best remaining free agents on the open market this season. The 34-year-old defensive tackle has registered 409 tackles, 115 quarterback hits, 75 tackles for loss, 41.5 sacks and six forced fumbles across 149 games and 121 starts in his 11-year NFL career, earning one Pro Bowl nod. Now it appears that Hicks may make his return to the gridiron soon.
Free agent defensive tackle Akiem Hicks has had discussions with multiple teams and interest remains high, but he has not made a decision whether to play this season, per source.

Given his age, it is likely that if Hicks were to return, he would be joining a team making a playoff push and contending for a Super Bowl. While Hicks has yet to make his decision whether or not to play this season, he does seem to be missing the game.
