Miko Matikka Repeats as NCHC Rookie of the Week

DENVER – Denver Pioneers hockey forward Miko Matikka repeated as the NCHC Rookie of the Week, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference announced on Monday. Matikka continued his hot stretch after earning his first career weekly honor on Nov. 13, as he extended his goal streak to five games and point streak to six games. He combined for three points in DU’s series split against Omaha, recording his second career multi-point outing with a goal and assist on Friday before tallying again on Sunday.
