8. Pat Murphy, Milwaukee Brewers

The Brewers might become a mess very quickly. Craig Counsell jumped ship, Brandon Woodruff is no longer in the fold, and Corbin Burnes and Willy Adames could be the next names out the door. It was likely a hard job to sell to any external candidate, so Milwaukee stayed in–house with Murphy. Once the head coach at Notre Dame and Arizona State, Murphy gets another crack at being an MLB manager after serving as the interim in San Diego in 2015.
