Dana Holgorsen fired; Who will be Houston’s coach in 2024?
HOUSTON (BVM) – Dana Holgorsen took over the football program in Houston in 2019 and despite back-to-back bowl appearances in 2021 and 2022, an eight-loss season was too much to overcome in 2023.
The Cougars parted ways with the 52-year-old head coach on Sunday.
Houston is now a member of the Big 12 conference making the job a lot more interesting than what it once was. This could open up the door for some new candidates, or some familiar faces, in its coaching search.
