LOS ANGELES (BVM) – One of the nation’s top quarterbacks in the Class of 2023 announced his decision to transfer. UCLA true freshman quarterback Dante Moore, a unanimous top-five quarterback nationally in the 2023 recruiting class, entered his name into the transfer portal on Thursday after just one season with the Bruins.

Moore had a difficult year with UCLA. After not being named the starter heading into the season, Moore took over for Ethan Garbers in the Bruins’ opener against Coastal Carolina where he shined with 143 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception. However, consistency was the main issue for Moore as he finished the year with 1,610 yards, 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions in nine games with five starts, splitting time between Garbers and Collin Schlee.
While his true freshman campaign did not go as planned, Moore is still an extremely talented and young signal caller who coaches will be clamoring to get on their roster. With that being said, here are five potential landing spots for the quarterback.
