Maalik Murphy enters transfer portal; 5 possible landing spots
AUSTIN, Texas (BVM) – Texas QB Maalik Murphy became the latest signal caller to enter the NCAA transfer portal Thursday, and he enters with arguably the highest ceiling of any transfer.

Murphy was a top-10 QB in the 2022 recruiting class out of Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, California, but with the potential return of Quinn Ewers to Austin, Texas, in 2024 and Arch Manning also in the mix, it made the most sense for him to explore his options.
There will be plenty of suitors for Murphy, but these are the five that make the most sense.
