5 candidates to have their number retired by Toronto Raptors
4. Chris Bosh (2003-10)
Bosh became a Canadian star quickly with the Raptors. There were high expectations for him when he was selected fourth overall in the 2004 NBA Draft out of Georgia Tech and he was ultimately able to meet them. Bosh slotted in as the new face of the franchise after Vince Carter was traded and made five All-Star appearances in seven seasons up north.
The peak of the Bosh era was the 2006-07 season. Toronto took home its first division title after winning a franchise record 47 games that year. Bosh left as the Raptors’ all-time points leader.
People forget Chris Bosh was All-NBA 2nd team with the Raptors!
