Jonah Coleman enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for RB

TUCSON, Ariz. (BVM) – Some coaching shakeups across college football in recent days have led more players to enter the transfer portal and one of the latest to do so is Arizona running back Jonah Coleman.

Coleman plans to leave Tucson following two terrific seasons with the Wildcats under Jedd Fisch who recently left the program to become the head coach at Washington

As a freshman, the 5-foot-9, 225-pound halfback ran for 374 yards and four touchdowns while averaging five yards per carry. Coleman took a big step forward in a featured role for Arizona as a sophomore this past season with 871 rushing yards and five touchdowns as he averaged 6.8 yards per carry. The talented running back also proved to be a receiving threat out of the backfield, making 25 receptions for an additional 283 yards and one score.

A dynamic player who continues to get better, Coleman still has three years of eligibility remaining and should garner plenty of interest during his time in the transfer portal. Here are five programs Coleman could be playing for in 2024.
