Lakers reeling; 5 possible trade acquisitions to save season
Dejounte Murray
Murray is the most exciting name mentioned in Lakers’ trade rumors and for good reason. While he signed a four-year, $120-million contract extension in the offseason, he’s earning under $18 million this season, so matching contracts won’t be challenging. Murray is averaging 21.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and five assists this season and would potentially serve as the Russell replacement. Murray’s defense has slipped from past seasons but he’s shooting over 38% from three on nearly six attempts per game and could act as the third star in Los Angeles.
