Phillies Seeking Outfield Depth After Brandon Marsh’s Knee Surgery: Potential Targets Include Whit Merrifield and Jorge Soler

The Philadelphia Phillies announced that outfielder Brandon Mash had arthroscopic knee surgery on his left knee before spring training. Marsh is expected to return in three to four weeks and to be ready for Opening Day. While the injury doesn't create a need to add another starting outfielder, the Phillies are reportedly looking for outfield depth. Bob Nightengale of USA Today writes that the Phillies aren't looking for a Cody Bellinger-type replacement for Marsh.
