Ranking 10 teams with the best chance to win Super Bowl LIX
SAN FRANCISCO (BVM) – The 2023 NFL season was another thrilling year that saw a lot of surprises across the league. At one point, the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs were one of those surprises, struggling to an 8-5 start while arguably looking as beatable as they had at any point in the Patrick Mahomes era.
However, the Chiefs would still go on to win the AFC West and earn a No. 3 seed in the postseason. Even with Mahomes having to play the first road playoff games of his career, the Chiefs steamrolled their way through the AFC to set up a Super Bowl rematch with the San Francisco 49ers.
Once again, Kansas City overcame a 10-point deficit to Kyle Shanahan’s squad en route to a 25-22 overtime win, earning the franchise’s third Super Bowl title in the last five years. The win has cemented the Chiefs as a dynasty for many as Mahomes continues his ascension into one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.

With Super Bowl LVIII wrapped up, it’s time to start looking ahead to the 2024 season and who could be hoisting the Vince Lombardi Trophy next February in New Orleans. It doesn’t come as much of a surprise that the 49ers and Chiefs have opened as championship favorites once again, as San Francisco’s odds have opened at +500 while Kansas City’s odds sit at +650.
