Saquon Barkley’s free agency: 5 landing spots for Pro Bowl RB
Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys have less cap space than other potential suitors for Barkley, but a splash move like this might intrigue Jerry Jones, as would the opportunity to steal away a star from one of Dallas’ biggest rivals. It’s hard to visualize Barkley in a Cowboys uniform, but with Dallas closer to contending for a Super Bowl than New York, it certainly could be a possibility. The Cowboys’ offense flourished with Mike McCarthy calling plays in 2023. However, one of the weak spots of the unit was its rushing attack as Tony Pollard struggled in his first year in a workhorse role. With Pollard likely on his way out, Barkley could be the perfect replacement and is a three-down back who could excel in McCarthy’s offense as the unit looks to get to another level.
