Brandon Garrison transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Texas Longhorns
Texas was a finalist in Garrison’s recruitment coming out of high school and it could be a program he looks at again in the transfer portal. Chris Beard was at the helm at that time, but current head coach Rodney Terry was also on his staff as an assistant. That prior relationship could make Texas one of Garrison’s top choices again this offseason, and it’s likely that the Longhorns will be in the market for another big man. The Longhorns have struggled a bit on the interior this season, ranking just 164th in the country in rebound margin, and will likely lose Dylan Disu this offseason. Getting Kadin Shedrick back would help the Longhorns, as will the addition of 2024 recruit Nicolas Codie. However, more depth will likely be needed in Texas’ frontcourt and that could come in the form of Garrison.
