Javian McCollum transferring: 5 landing spots for guard
Florida
The Gators also have a need in the backcourt and are in McCollum’s native state of Florida. With Zyon Pullin graduating and Riley Kugel transferring to Kansas, Florida will need to add some playmaking guards. Coming off of an NCAA Tournament appearance in head coach Todd Golden’s second season, the Gators appear to be a team on the rise.
McCollum would not only be able to return to his home state, but would be joining a team fresh off of an NCAA Tournament appearance, something the guard has never gotten to experience. Given the team’s success, the need for a playmaking guard and the fact the school is located in his home state, McCollum may not be able to resist the allure of Florida.
