AZUSA, Calif. – Grand Canyon track and field hurdler Daviciea McCartney set a GCU record this weekend at the Bryan Clay Invitational. McCartney, a senior from Mesquite, Texas, finished the weekend with a school-record in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 50.60 seconds. That mark takes down a six-year-old record. McCartney also had the second fastest 110-meter hurdles time with a mark of 14.08 seconds even with a strong head wind.
