Ranking the 10 best Baltimore Orioles in franchise history

9. Ken Williams, LF (1918-1927)

Williams could do something only Babe Ruth could do.

Well, at that time, anyway.

Before Williams piled up a major league-leading 155 RBIs in 1922, the Bambino was the only AL player on record to drive in as many runs. Along with his 39 home runs, that got Williams a runner-up finish in AL MVP voting that year.

Miguel Tejada has come closest to Williams’ single-season RBI mark for the club, falling five short of tying it in 2004.

Williams pushed across over 100 runs for the St. Louis Browns three times. His 40.5 WAR is the seventh-highest among position players in the club’s lore.
