5 best NFL draft fits for Iowa cornerback Cooper DeJean

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville could take a wide receiver with the 17th overall pick but it has a big need at cornerback. The departure of Darious Williams leaves room for a rookie to step in and compete for a starting spot immediately. Newly hired defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen has favored aggressive press coverage at his previous stops in Atlanta and New Orleans, a style DeJean is familiar with. The Jaguars may target corners Terrion Arnold or Quinyon Mitchell with their first-round pick, but DeJean could fit better in Nielsen’s scheme.
