Arrowhead’s Showalter sets home run record

MERTON — Arrowhead senior Jackie Showalter became the unofficial state record holder in home runs, going deep twice for Arrowhead’s softball team in an 180, five-inning Classic 8 Conference victory over Waukesha South Thursday. The Wisconsin recruit belted homers No. 51 and 52 of her career, which broke the previous mark held by a former Badger, Westosha Central graduate Kayla Konwent.
