Michael Penix Jr. is perfect for the Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons shocked the football world when they selected Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. No. 8 overall in last week’s NFL Draft. Having recently signed Kirk Cousins, many questions the Falcons motive for drafting another quarterback. Penix Jr. and Cousins’ contracts will set to expire the same offseason as well. Albeit head-scratching, this move makes perfect sense for Atlanta.
