Logger Football in Italy: Rees takes Rome

My first impressions of Rome were of the contrasting modern bistros along the sidewalks against the ancient walls displaying the deep history of our next stop. Now dried aqueducts snake through the buildings surrounding the city center and above the street upheld by arches. We passed by the fields of the Circus Maximus, the stage for Roman Chariot Races. What I found particularly interesting is that unlike the Colosseum, this grass field is still used for entertainment.
