Women’s Track & Field: Seven Scots Receive MIAC Awards

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Seven Scots were recognized today by the conference as the MIAC announced its season-end awards. The top three in each event received All-MIAC honors, while fourth through sixth places received All-MIAC Honorable Mention. Senior Sarah Beth Hobby (South Pittsburg, Tenn./St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School) received two All-MIAC honors. Hobby placed third in the Heptathlon with a personal best 4003 points, which is the third best score in Macalester history. She then placed second in the javelin throw with a mark of 38.52m (126′ 4).
