Coastal Carolina Chanticleers completed a sweep of the Marshall Thundering Herd with a 9-5 victory in the Sun Belt Conference series finale. Caden Bodine and Graham Brown led the Chants with multiple hits. Coastal pitcher Cameron Flukey contributed significantly with seven strikeouts over five innings. The win determines that Coastal could end up as the No. 6 or No. 7 seed, dependent on the outcome of the Troy Trojans and James Madison Dukes doubleheader. The Chanticleers head to Montgomery, Ala. for the SBC Baseball Championship starting May 21.
