Former Jets Forward Matt Hendricks Begins Career as AHL GM

The Minnesota Wild have named Matt Hendricks general manager of their American Hockey League franchise in Iowa. The move comes after former GM Michael Murray was promoted as one of three new assistant general mangers of the Minnesota club. Hendricks, now 42, has spent five seasons with the Wild, where he has served as Assistant Director of Player Development (2019-24). He will now take over duties as the head honcho in Iowa.
