Gibson never got the recognition he deserved, but maybe that will change. The right-handed slugger is now the career league leader in batting average (.372), slugging percentage (.718) and OPS (1.177). Gibson won three batting titles throughout his career as well as two triple crowns. In his 14-year career, he never finished a season with an OPS below 1.000.
