OXFORD, Miss. BVM) – Caden Prieskorn, a star football player for Ole Miss, is going viral for balancing fatherhood and a successful career as a Division-I athlete.
Prieskorn’s video captioned “Night routine as a college football player with a toddler and newborn,” has amassed over one million views in 24 hours, shown below.

“Proud of y’all for staying with it and doing what you love,” wrote one user under Caden’s video.
Caden, 24, and his wife, Cali Prieskorn, have a toddler boy, Mac, and a newborn girl, Romy. During the 2023 season, Caden was the father of one child. With the birth of his daughter in May, he will be the father of two for the 2024 season.
Caden is motivated to work harder on the football field because of his family.
“I have to provide for somebody else other than myself,” Caden previously told ABC24 Memphis… “That’s probably what I thought about every day. Like before I hit the weight room, before I ran these sprints. before I did anything – this extra work, like that’s something I definitely think about.”
Following the birth of Caden’s first child, the tight end went from 215 pounds to 260. The Rebels star is now among the nation’s top 10 returning tight ends for the 2024 campaign. His 2023 season was cut short due to injury, but he still managed 20 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns in nine games.
While Father’s Day on Sunday should be special for Caden, it’ll also be his first Father’s Day since he lost his own father to colon cancer in late 2023.
