Jakob Chychrun on the trade block?: 5 possible landing spots
OTTAWA, Ontario (BVM) – Jakob Chychrun has only spent one full year with the Ottawa Senators, but it looks like he could be on the move again. The 26-year-old blueliner has one more year remaining on his contract and if Ottawa does not want to pay him, it should move him this offseason for other assets.
Chychrun spent his first seven seasons with the Arizona Coyotes where he was viewed as one of the league’s budding stars. He placed 10th in the Norris Trophy voting in 2021 as a 22-year-old.
The American defenseman still has plenty of value and he could be the biggest name at his position to change teams this offseason.
