Cam Fowler, Anaheim Ducks exploring move: 5 landing spots
ANAHEIM, Calif. (BVM) – There was some talk this offseason about Cam Fowler potentially being a candidate to become the captain of the Anaheim Ducks. Now the two sides appear to be headed in a different direction.
Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman said they are “working on what his future could look like” on the 32 Thoughts podcast. He went on to say that the 32-year-old defenseman is respected across the league and that there should be interest in acquiring him.
The No. 12 pick in the 2010 NHL Draft has spent 14 seasons in Southern California where he has played in 974 career games. As the Ducks continue to get younger, Fowler will now likely be on the move.
These are five teams that could show interest in the American blueliner.
