Who are the biggest NFL QB draft busts since 2000?
(BVM) – The Carolina Panthers announced their decision on Monday to bench QB Bryce Young in favor of veteran Andy Dalton. The former No. 1 overall pick’s struggles from his rookie season carried over into this year and now his future is up in the air.
Young has a 2-16 career record with 11 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
It is still too early to completely write off the 23-year-old, but he could be trending towards being one of the biggest busts in NFL history. Other recent early draft picks like Zach Wilson and Trey Lance are further down the path than Young, but all three look like poor decisions.
With all three still on their rookie contracts, they can still turn things around, but these are the biggest QB busts of the century who they can soon join.
