Wilson has best finish in 5A Boys state cross country; Willcox wins 3A state meet
Spanish Springs senior Peyton Miller had the best finish among the Northern Nevada contingent as he took fourth place in the 5A state cross-country meet held Saturday at Veterans Park in Boulder City. Miller finished the 5-kilometer course in 16 minutes, 8 seconds Kenan Dagge from Desert Oasis won in 15:28. Douglas senior Luke Davis was sixth in 16:10.9, and Carson junior Sean Thornton was ninth in 16:27.9. Shadow Ridge won the boy's team title with 75 points, and Galena was second with 79.
